QUALITY AND SERVICE POLICY

It affects any new construction, modification, extension, renovation or rehabilitation of any building.

Under the Building Regulation Law (May 6, 2000), the developers are obliged to sign a ten-year insurance policy of the structure of the building, as a prerequisite to its registration in the Property Registry at the end of the job.

The Technical Control Body (EQE-OCT) performs a quality control of the work known as “Technical Control”, essential for insurance companies to issue the policies.

EQE does not intervene or substitute the Construction Management.

The technical control consists of:

-Revision of the Basic Project and Execution Project

-Revision of the Geotechnical Report

-Control of the work during its execution

-Verification of the laboratory tests results and of the materials used.

All of this is formalized in standardized reports for the insurance company.

The control performed is reflected on the reports, standardized by insurance companies such as: D0, D01, D5.1, D5.2, D6. Although for projects with special characteristics, additional reports must be issued.
